Virginia is a highly contested and critical battleground state. It seems as if McCain, Palin, Bidden and Obama are here ever few days. Senator Obama was here yesterday for a rally at 9:30 last night. People lined up near noon to get seats. It was really cold. Lines went for miles to get in. Here is the local story and video:

He was here last week too. It was crazy down near the Coliseum.

Senator McCain is supposed to be here (Hampton) and I think Senator Obama will be in VB the day after.....Virginia is turning into a pivotal state.

We are. Typically this is a very red state but the way it looks at the moment, we are turning a bit blue. Interesting to see.

My brother runs a polling center at the college he works at (he was on the CBS evening news last night). He said Obama is currently up by 9 points as off yesterday in VA...over ten in PA...go figure.

Obama had over 20,000 people in Harbor Park. That is a lot of people for that venue. Stands only hold about 11,000.
