Been off this week witrh the chidlets which is why I haven't been about.

Had a lovely trip to Windsor and saw the castle and Madge was in but we didn't see her much to Matthews dissapointment - Thomas was blown away by the state rooms and I have to say if you are ever feeling a little low and down on our country go and have a look around this beautiful place and feel the History oozing out of the walls. Thomas is doing the Victorians at school and when I told him Queen Victoria had walked the corridors that he was on he came over all misty eyed.

Anyway from there we saw some of our oldest and dearest friends from Uni who live in Henley and then we decided to stay at a hotel nearby with a lovely swimming pool to make it a mini holiday.

We went to the bar after check in and sat down next to a couple trying to feed their kids - took about 10 minutes for me to realise this was a girl we had lived with at uni for 4 years and lost touch with - we hadn't seen her for 12 years!! - anyways we got talking and swapped numbers and stories - the next day at breakfast we were seated next to eachother - the chances of all this happening are simply too staggering - so its a nice story but rather a strange one - old friends reunited - made me beam for days :D
