Sure you can
I don't like a lot of items on the menus when we're away.....I just ask for plain food!
I get chicken or steak without the sauce etc.

I've become quite adept at ordering things prepared plainly. Not by choice, but by necessity. I ususally start by saying to the server, "I really need your help."

Once I've gotten the server to buy into my "needs" it usually is quite a successful meal that is delivered.

Just ask. Adrian is a plain burger person and had no issues - he liked Beaches and Cream best though. :D

Even counter service in the parks and WDW resorts accommodates "plain" pretty well. Not sure about how salads are served there, though--if dressing is separate and can be added or not. I'm thinking it probably is, as some people want a lot, others a little, other none at all.

I'm another "plain and fussy" eater.
