I've heard and read that the best are at Raglan Road.

where is raglan road?

It's the Irish pub/eatery at Downtown Disney. They also do take away food.

I wasn't impressed with the fish and chips at Raglan Road or Rose & Crown. They were pretty bland even with vinegar.

Raglan Road has the BEST bread and butter pudding so I'd go there just for that.

Cooke's of Dublin, which is the take away counter service at Raglan Road has the best fish and chips. The restaurant proper at Raglan Road doesn't do as nice a job on the fish and chips as does the counter service.

Harrys Fish was soggy and the chips were too crisp...

Tink, I feel the same way! Cooke’s of Dublin does a better job. I wonder if it is because they sell more and things are cooked fresh more often? They also had a yummy chicken and mushroom pie. Either way they have a nice outdoor seating area and we were able to grab our meals and a drink and enjoy a beautiful Florida night. Great for people watching too!

Hello Pam! Welcome to Disney Secrets!

Yes, I think much of it has to do with the freshness of the fish and chips there. They do sell it fast, and I've actually had to wait for it to be cooked. Not a bad thing at all. Talk about hot and fresh!

It is a nice place to sit and enjoy a bite, a drink and people!

We noticed while we were there this time that the EPCOT Fish and Chips is now the Yorkshire County Fish House, no mention of Harry Ramsden. And I tried Cooke's of Dublin and can't really say much good about their fish. :(

Ach, and you must have been unlucky then! We've only ever had piping hot, nicely cooked fish and chips from Cooke's!

The chips were warm at best, and quite mushy. The fish was hot, but I feel quite overdone, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp rather than fresh out of the oil.
