Celebrate your Birthday Disney Style

You can now surprise your child with a dream birthday party at Goofy's Candy Company in Downtown Disney is introducing birthday parties in December 2008.

The price is $367.38 for up to 12 guests and you can add 3 more guests at $25 per person.

The party will be in a private party room decorated by Disney "elves" with balloons. Paper plates and napkins are included together with specially created invitations and thank you notes for all guests. There will also be 2 party hosts to help during the party.

You can choose from two themes:

Goofy's Scien-Terrific Birthday Bash features:

Special glow glasses

A treat of your choice to decorate - create-a-treat" at the table. Depending on what you have selected, it will be an apple, a krispie treat, pretzels, marshmallows or an oversized deluxe cupcake

An exclusive autographed 7 x 5 picture of Goofy

A helium balloon for each guest featuring the special birthday party logo. The Birthday Guest of Honor receives a larger, Mylar version.

Goofy Glacier build-a-cup and glacier of your choice. A frosty concoction inside a foot tall Disney Character container with a crazy top and bottom. Choose from eight flavors, a blend of several, or all of them (another party exclusive). Each guest can choose a base, cup, top and straw, all washable

Goofy games to play, such as "Goofy's Licorice Limbo" and "Put the Cherry on the Sundae"

Goofy's Scien-Terrific Birthday Bash, multicolor light-up glasses for each guest. The Birthday Guest of Honor is given something else not found in the Parks: a fantastic, vintage bubblegum machine PLUS a whole pound of selected candy in the shop.

An exclusive "happy birthday" song that was created just for guests at Goofy's Candy Company.

The lucky Birthday Guest receives a hand-blown glass slipper mounted on a mirror inside a Plexiglas case, tied up with a pretty blue bow! Princess Birthday Guest of Honor also gets a tiara and a "Birthday Princess" sash.

The parties are an hour and a half long and guests must be age 3 and older.

It sounds like great fun but is it just me or does it seem very expensive :unsure:

Ouch!!!! That seems like a whole lot of money..but I would love to do it anyway. :unsure: Now about have 12 of Katelyn's friends in WDW with us :rolleyes008:

I think the price should be based on the amount of people. How would one get 12 of their closest friends and family to WDW???

The price is not that out of line with local birthday parties. However, I don't know how your going to get that many people to WDW unless you are local?
