In probably one of the *most* IMPULSIVE acts I've ever committed, I've decided to join Alysia and Johnie on their Christmas trip to Disney.

Just me. By myself. For the first time. Ever.

I can hardly breathe I'm so excited :D

Oh yes...ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND my very wonderful fiancee has decided to take the kids skiing whilst I'm away....he wants to spend some time with them on his own. Did I mention I love him?

It's interesting how life works...sometimes you're sprinkled by pixie dust and good things begin to happen....and sometimes...you just jump out there and take a leap of faith and the :pdust: follows.

My grandfather phoned today...not my "pop" but my paternal grandfather. I don't see/talk to him incredibly often....my relationship with that side of my family is tenuous and strained at best...

But. Long story short. He phoned this morning to say that instead of paying so much income tax this year, he was sending all his grandchildren a little something extra for Christmas.

And indeed he did. :D

Nope. You're not a downer at all. I recognize how blessed I am to have my grandparents living still...My pop and my gran are incredible.
