Its been a disruptive few weeks. Lisa and the boys drove down to Cornwall on Saturday (8 hour drive!) to be with her Mum whilst she had more tests ( still no conclusive results unfortunately the bronch couldn't get low enough but she does look 'rough' ) So I was without my kids for 3 days which was bizzare - kept just wandering around.

Anyway they got back last night :thumbsup:and it was lovely

Matthew gets up at 5 this morning and runs down stairs then comes back up and jumps into bed

'Mummy Father Christmas hasn't been'

'Its not Christmas yet....'

'oh'

'Mummy'

'Yes'

'My Tummy feels like Pikachu used thunderbolt on it'

:D - I love this age its only a mater of months before all we'll get is a 'Unh'

Of course if you were evil you could have said that he must have been a very norty boy and Santa had missed him this year.

He was coming out with some cute stuff - we were all lying there in the dark in bed this morning and Thomas says

'I read in my book last night of a cool formula for working out the day of the week you were born on......he then rattles off a complex formula'

'Thomas'

'Yes Matthew'

'Is it a secret formula?'

'What do you mean Matthew'

'Like what Mr Krabs has'

I could eat him with a spoon:D

We have those conversations at 3am too when Steven jumps in with us.

"Mummy"

"yes Steven"

"I had a bad dream"

"oh dear, well you know it was only a dream and not real"

"ok"

....20 minutes later

"Mummy"

"uunnhhhh"

"could you send the dream fairies in to clear the bad dream from my room"

Of course I did. Can't have bad dreams lingering.

Apparently the bad dreams come out of the Stormtrooper poster so that may have to go.

How cute! I was never so cute. The best I came out with was...

"Mum? Can we have a dog?"
Dad replied "Over my dead body!"
My reply;
"Well its bye bye to the fat guy"

I don't remember saying it but we get that story everyyyy Christmas. Apparently I got it off some film
