Does anyone have a Tassimo or one of the other types of automatic coffee maker. There are so many out there now I want to make sure I spend my christmas vouchers on the right one

We are thinking about this at the moment. I have a good espresso/capuccino maker that is leaking, so went to a specialist shop yesterday. They actually recommended a Nespresso machine, but we are still looking.

Im looking too and I have no idea which one yet  but I think one of the first decisions is, coffee only or one that does all sorts of different drinks.

Tassimo seems to do loads of different ones, nespresso just coffee? I think? maybe :)

I think you are right there Keith. I think Tassimo do teas and perhaps chocolate.

The nespresso machine we are looking at has an automatic milk heater/frother.

I have an old style Tassimo but it leaks like a sieve. I'm kicking myself because Argos had the new ones at half price just before Christmas. Back to full price now and I didn't get off my bum and get one in time. :(

yes, i like the latte machiato best so it uses a creamer and coffee pod. My only moan would be that the portion sizes are not the biggest. I like a big mug of coffee in the morning and it's just not enough. I use mine at weekends mainly- it can work out really expensive in the long run but if it stops you buying a starbucks every day would work out cheaper.

Not sure if they have them in the UK, but I have a Keurig (http://www.keurig.com/). I really, really love it. It has three different "sizes" to choose from...I usually have my morning coffee with the "large" size (though I usually need two in order to fill up my Tink mug  ) and the "smallest" size is perfect for espresso martini's :D

I have the Dolce Gusto machine and we really like it. It is quick and easy and i think the coffee is really nice. I like the machiato best but the chocochino is nice too :D

We had a kenwood one in the past and didn't rate it. It was too bulky and the coffee wasn't really that good. I don't think we used it properly..
