I could go on and on about this movie and the books. I read all the books prior to the movie and I would like to watch the movie again. I thought the books were great for an adult even though they were aimed for young adults. Of course, in my eyes, books are always better than the movie representations.
Now with the characters. I definitely don't want to give anyway. While I love Jacob, Edward is fantastic. He has a romantic possessiveness about him, which I enjoy. The Cullens are a fabulous self-made family. I particularly like the father.

If you loved the movie, the books will blow you away because they are soooo much better. It's just too difficult to include all the wonderful details in a movie.

Alysia has been on me forever about reading the books. I will when I am done with the Outlander series. I am on book 4 of 6 now.

Awesome books...haven't seen the movie though....Baleigh was the opposite...she saw the movie with a friend and then couldn't wait to start the books...She's now on book three.
It's amazing to see my ten year old daughter reading a 300 page novel. It only takes one good book, ya know?

Being such an avid reader, I couldn't agree more. It seems that many kids don't read that much these days, so I'm so happy for the Harry Potter and Twilight books. Reaching the younger children and then teens. :D

Absolutely Billie, she's asked for the SERIES for Christmas (even though her brother let her borrow the first two, she has decided she now needs the entire set, because his "Twilight" book is *ugggy*)
She is utterly caught up in it....I go upstairs at night to kiss her and she's sound asleep with the book beside her....PRICELESS.

I could easily join in the conversation. The series was very good. :D
Unfortunately I think I have found the one child not into Harry Potter. My cousin does not like books or the movies. Can you believe that?!?! It just doesn't make sense. If I was his age I would have been all about Harry.

Well I'll be glad to talk about it when I am done with this series. I'm a bit immersed with Jamie and Claire at the moment.

Would you like me to tell you about the ending of the Twilight series....I can you know. :D
I actually attempted to listen to the Outlander series, but just couldn't get into them The audios were like 23 hours long for the first book. Don't get me wrong, I love a good long audiobook, but I just couldn't very far with this series. I heard they are supposed to be great though. Have you enjoyed them?

Someone else said they couldn't get into the series either. I have! I am on book 4. It's been so good. The only difficulty I had at first was reading the Scottish words. But I figured out what stuff means and it's a really good story.
No, don't tell me the end of the the Twilight series. Alysia was trying to tell me stuff about the vampires, wolves and a pillow tearing scene......:nono:

I would like to try them again, when I get a chance and have the time. I love series types of books, especially if the characters are good. I love reading and have been taking advantage of my winter break (as next Christmas I will in practicum, even though school will have a break). I have been reading a book a day...trashy romances though. :D

I "listened" to the audio Outlander series, Billie...I agree it was a bit difficult to get "plugged in" at first. I downloaded the audio from Audiobooks and tried three times to listen to them before I actually managed to get "hooked"
But after I did....I couldn't put it down!!
