We arrived at London Victoria just after 10am, bumped into a neighbour who was on her way to work - haven't seen her for quite some time so had a quick chat then promptly made our way to the underground with MIL and FIL following along behind!

2 stops later we were making our way into the fresh air underneath Big Ben. We wandered across Westminster Bridge to go and have a look at the London Eye, Christmas Market and wait for our surprise trip on the Duck.

Hardly any of the market was open yet so we just had a wandered along the river which my in-laws enjoyed, then as we came back the market was opening up a bit more.

Mmmm.....did you have bratwurst?

no! i thought the boys would try it but they didn't! i'm a veggie so it took a while for me to find food - 'til around 4pm actually as everything was meaty!

thanks guys!

Britchick, if you do go to one try the Hyde Park one as there's more there, it was mostly food really but it was nice to wander around there.

If anyone wants to go on rides or whathaveyou it could be rather expensive - we went on the Haunted House and it cost 15 squid. Oh and another 25 for grub in the food court.

The London Eye one was ok too but we were just too early for it! There are street entertainers along there usually and of course there's the river traffic and parliament to look at and stuff!
