DH in Luton says the airport is shut due to snow but not a whisper here in Dorset. Not fair! :poutingsmilie:

We had about the same amount as you mum it's nearly all gone now though :sigh: Not my wish for good 'trudging through' snow but everything looked pretty for about an hour so better than nothing.

well we had a good fall in April last year so we may have to wait a while yet - DS14 was well upset as he'd gone to Spain on a school trip a couple of days before so he missed it!

Thin snow here too, but sun is trying to break through so it won't last long. Which is good as I have to go to the Post Office and it's all downhill...

No snow here, just rain.

Drivers react to rain here about the way they do to snow in colder climates: they forget how to drive!

LOL! Well, it's kind of fun to see the excitement some snow garners for some of you!

I can honestly say I don't miss it. I'll be in Boston area the last week in January, so I'm guessing I'll get to not only see it, but drive in it again. :sigh: Let's hope it's like riding a bike, eh? Once you get up and going the skills come back. :D

Mystikpiglit, I always found going uphill on snow covered roads more of a challenge than going downhill.

UK snow is spectacularly pathetic but it makes a nice change from the rain!
