View Full Version : Surf school!

As you know from my other threads, my Aunt who lived in Sydney passed away just before New Year, and Gareth and I went down for the funeral on Friday.

We decided to stay til Sunday so we had some time on Saturday to enjoy. My cousin runs a weekend surf school so Gareth had a lesson! 2 of my other cousins' children also joined in. It was lovely.

Here are some photos of his first surfing lesson. I just wish my Aunt could have seen; she would have been happy to see her wider family enjoying themselves.

What a glorious way to celebrate the joy of your Aunt's having lived a full life.

The beach looks so majestic and the ocean so powerful! Those clouds look a little threatening though.

Thank you Kazza, for sharing the photos and for showing us a way to truly celebrate the life of someone we love. :hug2:

Typical of course the day before was clear blue skies as was the day after! But it didn't matter they all had loads of fun!
