Hi

just thinking about bringing things back from Orlando, has anyone ever been stopped in the UK? I know its wrong to consider buying more but the limits are just so stupidly low :(

Don't know anyone who's ever been stopped. I'm not going to condone it but the limits are low and the bargains plentiful.

No alligator products though. :nono:

I did hear on another board.. from a customs guy himself.... that they are really looking for bigger fish to fry...

I think Shamu is covered under the CITES agreement. So no. No you may not.

the limit has just been increased to £300 from January

i have never been stopped but even if you wash and wear your clothes if stopped and questioned the onus is on you to prove that you already owned the item. Jon worries about this, i just walk fastly thorough

we went out with 2 bags and came back with 5 - nobody ever seems to be there anyway!

going out, wherever we go, we *always* get searched!
