A rocking, Christmas adventure in the Wilderness – Day 14 - Going home

Cast

Me – Loves all things Disney, also loves planning and writing lists.
DH – Loves all things Disney. Hates planning and loathes my lists lol.
DS1 – Luuuuuuvs big coasters, Goofy, Swimming and all things Star wars.
DS2 – Is glad he is finally tall enough to get on some cool coasters. Loves all things Disney, loves my lists and is my planning buddy.

Day 14 Going home.

We got up; put or cases to Down Town Disney. We arrived at DTD at 9am but didn’t get away until 10am

We drove straight to Hollywood studios for one last go on yup you guessed it Rock and roller coaster and Star tours Again!!!! Then straight back out and over to the Animal kingdom where we stopped of at the Rain Forrest café for lunch which was very good.

So the sensible thing to do would let our lunch go down but noooooo we head straight to Everest with our fast passes from the other day. The cast member is very kind and exchanges them for 3 sets of fast passes for today so we ride 3 times in a row straight after lunch lol

Everyone needs a seat after that so we go and see the Flights of wonder show. We have never taken the time out to see this before, it really was quite brilliant.

We have another wander down the trail and realise it’s time to think about heading to the Airport. Boo!!!!!!!! We manage one last go on it’s tough to be a bug on the way out.

We reluctantly drive to the airport hand back our car and then tackle security. It was sheer chaos. Give me Sanford any day.

Get on our plane fly home to freezing temperatures fly to Inverness to torrential rain and that’s it we’re home!!!!!

I actually have no photos from today, we were too busy trying to fit as much in as we could and you get into the parks quicker with no bags. So I will post some random ones lol!!!!

I can honestly say this has been one of the best holidays we have had, I don’t know if it was because the kids are at a good age and were so well behaved or if it was because we approached everything with a laid back attitude. Whatever it was it just worked. :wiggle:

Well I can’t believe that is the end of my report!!!!!!!!! I’ve had so much fun writing it. This was my first ever attempt at doing a trippy. I would just like to thank everyone who has been kind enough to read it and comment.

Bye xxxxxxxxxxx:wave:

I use a Fujifilm Finepix s9600. It's quite old now, I've had it a good couple of years. I think the weather had alot to do with the photos. The sky was so bright everyday.

I know about there not being any of me. My hubby doesn't do real cameras only video ones heeheeheehee! I think also being a scrap booker you never think about getting yourself into the photos, but more about capturing the kids moments. I think it's always in the back of your mind how so much more grown up they will be next time we visit. There are tons of Photo Pass photos of me though, but I've not finished fiddling with them yet online.

Look how little DS1 was July 2007. He was 12 and is now 13 but what a change lol
