I'm really saddened by this. Tony Hart (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7836112.stm) was a big part of my childhood. I remember Vision On, Hartbeat and Take Hart with great affection. The man was a truly talented artist but I also loved his gentle nature. Very softly spoken. RIP Tony. Poor Morph will be so sad.

Yes, I remember Hartbeat / Take Hart very fondly... I even remember sending in a picture for the Gallery once. :-)

Thanks for the memories Tony.

I was so sad when I saw this on the news earlier...straightaway I remembered watching Vision On, and "that" music...took me right back to coming home from school and watching this before tea...

What a lovely man, and a lovely legacy he has left with a lot of kids of our generation.
