View Full Version : It hurts

Dawn

Took Steven swimming this morning and we were messing around when we accidentally clashed heads. He was fine but I bit down really hard on the side of my tongue with my back teeth.

Massive bite mark now and tongue is swollen and bruised. Can't talk properly and can't eat properly.

It hurts. :(

Ouch and double ouch!!! I'm sure that has got to hurt! Eat loads and loads of ice cream...to numb the area of course.

Claire

Good thinking Helly. Bonjella will do the trick nicely. Works well on ulcers so should help you.

Awe....will it be all better for when you get these peanut butter chocolate things I have for you? Should I pass them on to some one else so as not to agrivate your tongue

Tink
19-01-2009, 12:27 AM
Yes, Issy. I think that would be best. The peanut butter is only going to stick to Dawn's tongue and roof of her mouth and that will be so hard on that poor bitten tongue!!! Plus, the chocolate may end up burning it with the sugar, and we'd not want that would we?

Best send them back here (I'll be happy to take them off your hands) so there aren't any problems. :sigh:

Ursula
19-01-2009, 12:27 AM
Yes that's a good idea and it would be a kindness for me to take them off her hands....

Dawn

Slowly and carefully.

The kids do most of the work, I just have to guide them in the right direction.

Tink
19-01-2009, 06:16 PM
Now that, my dear Dawn is the hallmark of an excellent and understanding teacher. :hug2: Thank you for being such a wonderful influence and guide to the children who will go on to run our society. :hug2:

You didn't slobber all over them then, Many moons ago when l was in Banking l had to do an emergency overdraft interview. Thing is l had a filling done and my mouth and gums were numb. I just sort of stared at them with a very exaggerated trout pout and slobbered "hosh mush doya wanna borrowsh"

Why is it when we are good people and return to the office after a visit to the dentist, everyone expects us to be able to enunciate properly?
