View Full Version : Best time to go to a Character Breakfast?

I always assumed that the best time to go was as soon as it started, which is what we did last time. But I've just read a tip elsewhere saying that the very best time is after 11am. Anyone any thoughts on this?
Thanks. :-)

I agree...

the best and most relaxed character breakfasts we enjoyed were the ones held later during the day

Waiters arents as stressed, there arent other people waiting for tables so they dont hurry you along, you dont wake up as early and can just take it easy.....

of course... once, half of the buffet was gone... hahaha....

we like to go as early as possible - some offer sittings before park opening so you get brekkie and you get to be first on the rides :D

Yes, we did that at CP. I've never had to get up and out so early at WDW!
We are not bothered about rushing to rides any more. Thank goodness. :D

ah well, the boys are always up and about at 5 am anyway so we like to make use of that :D

We always go for the first sitting, mainly because the food is all 'new' and the characters are on their first circuit so you tend to see them fairly quickly which makes eating for us less stressful as we aren't worrying about missing them when we are at the buffet. Also I like to eat before park opening.

The odd time we have done a character dinner mid service I have always found it a bit chaotic. That said I would think that later on would be more relaxed as well.

That said whenever we have missed a character the CM's have always been very good at getting them back to us. :)

I'm thinking it's definitely going to be worth a try. Although if I wake up at 7 I'll have to eat breakfast before going to out breakfast.

I did to go to 11am. :) I like going and making the breakfast a dual meal, like a mix of breakfast and lunch.

I also think its worth a try.l. but it depends on your schedule...

I think coming from the UK, everyone is up by 6, so the first seating makes sense...

Coming from Mexico... 6am in Orlando is 5am here... so its just harder... and alater seating makes more sense... thats .. if you dont have kids jumping up and down at 3am.... hahahahaha

we are doing an early one on our first morning, and then a couple of later ones on days when we are not rushing to parks. It's quite a nice relaxinf morning for a bit of down time i find
