It takes c 4 posts for my topics and questions serious or otherwise to become derailed ( number of threads checked 12)

An experiment was then conducted to see how long it would take to get a series of 3 related replies within a thread that had no initial point - excluding any of my own replies the answer was 55 -with a discussion on marzipan which lasted all of 3 posts.

Thank you my little guinea pigs

many elementary particles do not occur under normal circumstances in nature, but can be created and detected during energetic collisions of other particles, as is done in particle accelerators

what are you reading this morning - it sounds fascinating

I really really like your new eye by the way

Loop, me, still out of it.

I'm trying to decide whether to crack quantum mechanics or particle physics before lunchtime. I'm leaning toward Shrodinger's cat though so it may be quantum mechanics.

It's Angelina Jolie and I'm keeping her all to myself.

Claire

I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating biscuits.

Dawn

I'd be dragging her back in and feeding her Jaffa Cakes.

Shrodingers cat is dead - regardless of whether or not you open the door

Dawn
23-01-2009, 08:14 AM
But if you leave the door shut how can you prove it's dead.

Skywatcher
23-01-2009, 08:21 AM

Dawn

The cat is sleeping. :shrug1:

You need a thread on how many girls secretly love Angelina.

Skywatcher
23-01-2009, 08:30 AM
Not sure I could take that in all honesty.

Ok the breathing stops

Deb
23-01-2009, 08:49 AM
OK. Far be it from me to disagree with the good Doctor. But I am :D

I would respectfully argue, m'lud, that reply 46 achieved this objective. There were 3 concurrent replies related to Dawn's eye. Hence my post saying "Bingo!" afterwards, as I thought your experiment had been concluded :geekon:

One rests one's case . Or one's Prada handbag.

Skywatcher

It was my experiment and my rules :taunt: - as you clearly cottoned on to what the experiment was about your involvment in its conclusion may invalidate the results

Deb
23-01-2009, 09:03 AM
That's because I deduced your intentions by the amazing power of my mind...look into my eyes....

Does that mean you have to do it all over again Mr Skywatcher sir??

I hoped you logged the original rules with National Competition Council for Fun and Games.

Skywatcher
23-01-2009, 09:04 AM
It breezed through the ethical commitee and I shall be presenting the results before the Royal college at noon

Deb
23-01-2009, 09:37 AM
Don't worry Wendy. It's one of Chris' so I don't think you're meant to :D

I have just reread my last post and saw that I inadvertently used the word "pogeonholed". I have no idea what it means but it sounds very goos

Skywatcher
23-01-2009, 09:38 AM
you could wear a baggy jumper and put your thumbs through holes in the sleeves - oh and if you could smell slightly of sour milk that might complete the effect - along with looking at people like they are all stupid :D

Deb

Definitely not into Angelina. I find her lips a bit daunting.

I could easily go the Kiera route as she is so pretty, but I think it's Penelope Cruz for me...

Wendy

Johnie
23-01-2009, 06:30 PM
Kiera Knightly? Isn't she the one in POTC? She's far too thin for me. I like Kate Winslet when she was more plump.

I know men get man crushes. My BIL loves Paul Newman. My DH has a thing for Vin Diesel though he would never admit it lol

BigThunder
23-01-2009, 09:09 PM
I don't think I have any woman crushes...I've been trying to think. Angelina is attractive but I think she's prettier in photos than in movies or real life, if that makes any sense. She has those super thin arms with the protruding veins. Those gross me out in men or women. Ok, surely there is one woman out there that i could have a crush on...think think think. I know when I was younger I totally had one on Tori Amos. She hasn't aged well tho & her music has sucked for the past decade at least, lol.
