Ours shut when Disney reacquired the stores. There is still one some where in the Valley--Arizona Mills or some place pretty far south.

Quite honestly, I rarely visited TDS after Disney sold it. The merchandise was pretty limited and the quality wasn't very good.

I was at The Disney Store that I was employed at over the holidays and they too are worried . :sigh:

You can have our Disney store if you want. Who needs that much HSM merchandise and Pooh beanie sets? :furious:

Our store wasn't much better, Dawn . All kid stuff and very limited collectible ot adult wear stuff .

I absolutely loved our Disney Store when it first opened back in....1997 I guess. But it seemed to go downhill stock wise. For the first few years they carried really nice adult clothing & that went by the wayside quickly. And the rest of the selection just seemed to really suffer when they sold out to Children's Place people. I honestly don't think it's any better now & I don't get the thrill I used to going in. could have a lot to do with my kids now being 15 & 10 & not really any longer into toys or wearing Disney clothes. Even at that, I still hope ours makes it & doesn't shut down.

I was amazed at how little Wall-E stuff they had in the Oxford St Branch. I expected much more variety.

Even if I didn't buy anything, it was nice to get a little Disney feel in the middle of the work week.

I loved loved our DS. Both ours closed last summer. When I walk by the mall now I keep hoping they'll open up again. I loved going in there.

But I suppose there's not much that was there that I can't buy at Walmart or Target. I did like the stores better than shopping online though :(

when I go to the States I LOVE going to the Disney Store... no matter where... even if I dont buy anything, just going in I feel sprinkled with pixie dust...
