What? Don't they know who you are??? Don't they know how many friends you have with telescopes and therefore how much expert information you could impart to the inquiring minds of tomorrow???Don't they know you are personally acquainted with Syywatcher, Master of the Starry Universe???Hmmph :hopmad:

Aw, they limit the amount of parents that can go? That kind of sucks. Sorry :(

We had to limit adults on our Porchester Castle trip. The school would take all volunteers if they could but they are bound by how many seats available on the coaches.

I've just found out year 2 visit the planetarium so that will be Steven next year. Might get my name down for that now.

Is it to Intech Mo2?

The one in Chichester.

yeah, the one in Chichester.....no i can't just show up or I would!

They limit spaces due to the coach numbers as long as they have enough for the amount of children that's all they need......I am soooo gutted they aren't taking me.

I went on youngest DS first school trips and eldest DS middle school trips but now youngest is there they don't want me :sorry: perhaps it's 'cos of that boy i almost lost in London.......

Can you ask to be on an alternate list in case anyone has to drop out?

They always had problems getting volunteer chaperones when I was young--and most of the women didn't work outside the home! My father was commandeered numerous times. His job was to keep a couple of the more unruly boys under control. It worked--and he actually enjoyed it!

yes, i'll see if there's a standby list
