hi usc , we are heading in the right direction thanks
mandy was diagnosed with lukemia at the start of october but is doing very well and has had 3 out of 4 courses of chemo and was in remission afterthe first course which is great but they continue with all 4 as that gives the best long term recovery . she is feeling a bit delicate some times and has to take it a bit slower than normal .
im at home with oli and mandy is in an out of hospital depending on where she is in her treatment but heather is in respite care , and has been for 3 1/2 months now !!!!! the problem is i am getting less and less able so cant manage an ever growing 13 year old heather on my own we have a care package agreed and the funding ready but we just cannot find carrers who are qualified to look after heather .
but we see heather twice a week we go to her respite home on a sunday and she comes how for a couple of hours one evening , so all is not so bad .
