The kids are off agin today. Eldest 2 have only been in on Weds and youngest did Tues and Weds. School closure went up for today ,yesterday afternoon!!!!!.
We are expecting 10-15cms today. But, the worst bit is the husband has to work from home so takes over my computer and whole network. :furious: which l know is me being unreasonable but hey l have an online life.
So we have made 75:surrender: fairy cakes yesterday. Made a snow bridge from Narnia. What today?
And the washing is getting  out of control.
OH the husband is trying to go to work.:point:

Just heard ours is closed as well - although we haven't had as much snow as Thursday night :rollyes:

We have to drive to Somerset this afternoon
At least now hopefully we can leave a bit earlier with the kids off.

Hope Gatwick is clear for skywatcher :fingers:

Fairy cakes? What are they?

I zeroed in on that right along side you, Tink!

Edited to add:

One of the quirks of dial-up--photos take forever to load and I read fast and am long gone before there is an indication of them!

Thanks, Mairead!

I learned that a fairy cake is a cupcake when I was trying to figure out what pudding was! I like the name fairy cake better

75 of them? Are you having a party? Shall I bring some vodka?

Disneybumble

I was bored Johnie, so me and my girls made plain ones, choc chip ones and white choc chip ones. They have now all gone as the various children who have been in my garden have eaten them all.
But good call on the Vodka as we are going to a party tonight and tomorrow. And it has snowed here all day. Real wet and mushy now, but l was saying to the kids you really will remember Feb 09, 4 days off school and more snow than you could shake a stick at.
