I'm off in a while with my Mum to collect my Aunty from Kingston (and possibly do some shopping en route!), and DH and the boys are going to Maidstone to collect a dirt bike for DS14 to fix up and take dirt biking.

I should be getting dressed really but at the moment I'm playing snooker in the arcade!

see ya later peeps!

Is that Kingston, Surrey - with the Krispy Kreme outlet in Bentalls and the nice Disney Store?

Or Kingston near Lewes with 3 houses and a bus stop?

LOL! And here I am thinking, why in the world would ya'll want to go to a Tony Roma's when there must be "authentic pubs" in the area? LOL! Talk about stereotyping, eh? :sorry:

Have a great day Mairead!!! Eat a Krispy Kreme for our Dawn! :D :D

Tink there aren't many 'local' pubs left, anyway you always miss what you can't have. lol

So true. When we were in Ireland, one of the people in our (family) group went to McDonald's for french fries! We teased him mercilessly until we snagged one and tasted it. Best ff we'd ever had at McD's! LOL! We don't even eat McD's HERE, never mind anywhere else! LOL.

Most of the authentic pubs have been bought up by the big chains now. :sigh:

mmm, i wish!

we left home and drove around 4 miles-ish up the road to Findon to find the place covered in SNOW! we were speechless - we have none at home!

we collected my Aunty and were on our way to the big KK shop but the traffic was horrendous so we turned round and came back - stopped off at tesco on the way home and bought some there instead!

Snow in Findon!!!
