Bought a big selection pack of wild bird food that included a 100g pack of live mealworms. Opened up the storage box today to restock the bird feeders and the worms have managed to escape.

I'll be rounding up mealworms if anyone needs me.

The bird food is all kept in a lidded storage crate. I just had to empty it all out and shake everything off and then empty the box on to the bird table.

I think I got them all.

Oh! dear!!!!!!!

Connor had a worm farm once but thought it was cruel so freed the earth worms into his bedroom, but I expect it was easier to round them up than your worms.

So, what happened to the worms? Did they go out in the bottom of the box or have they been recontained--more securely?

They've been fed to the birds.

It's what birds eat.

And I'm one of those weird people that don't mind touching them.

Not at all. Actually they're so small you can hardly feel them.
