We had 3 round trips with this company - Airport, DC and Kennedy Space centre.

Competitive rates, very friendly and personal service, 3 different drivers but all went the extra mile to chat and be friendly, always prompt.

Also always had the option of prepaying your gratuity prior to travel with a registered credit card and as such no additional gratuity was expected, unlike some other companies.

1st time we have used them and we will definitely use them again - tried to sell the board to them, so if you use them please mention where you heard about them .

The last chap we met at the hotel I called out accross the car park

'Tiffany?'

'No, I'm Mario.......maybe at the weekends though'

Dare I ask how much it was to KSC?

Awesome! Nice to hear of good service. If we ever need a towncar we'll go with them.

It was pricey - think it was around $270 but it was 1hr 15 mins each way

However it was worth every cent

We've always used Quicksilver.

Be interesting to compare prices.

We had always used quicksilver in the past but had a few issues

Wasn't there some issue with some Quicksilver drivers expecting a gratuity on top of the pre-paid gratuity?

Oh good, I was waiting for your review so I could decide which service to book. So, would you recommend them over the other service? Or are they about the same?

I tried Quicksilver when they sponsored a.nother site :) trying to be supportive and all that. They didn't turn up on the first trip requiring many calls but they comped the second trip so ok.

However, when they started charging UK visitors compulsory gratuities on airport runs (international visitors only, not domestic US you'll note) I stopped supporting them and went back to Tiffany

yep indeed

I had the discussion with the owner who was of the opinion that the gratuity charged, 20% mind you!, just took care of the minimum and if you received good service, more money could reasonably be expected by the driver.

Yes would recommend them over quicksilver and yes for precisely that reason. I have issues with the whole 'compulsary gratuity thing anyway - I know its cultural but if its part of the price just make it part of the price - if its compulsory it simply isn't a gratuilty is it? - like I said its cultural and I will touch on it inthe trip report, as disney are now printing 'suggested gratuities' on all their reciepts - With Quicksilver I paid the compulsory gratuity upfront - didn't tip the drver then got a stroppy phone call asking if I had been dissatisfied with the service as I hadn't tipped the driver

Mmm interesting.

Only used Quicksilver on the last trip and was most impressed with the servie.
We had the limo to DC and paid the gratuity within the price i was quoted directly to the driver and he wasn't expecting anymore.
We also phoned and used them for our transfer from I-Drive to Disney. They quoted me the wrong price but Gregory phoned and left me a message to say he had over quoted and gave me the revised price.

I wonder if things have changed since.

Will definitely look at the Tiffany site though.

Gregory was an old Tiffany employee apparently. Maybe things have changed - just felt it was time to move on.

Interesting.

Didn't know Gregory had left.

I've used Tiffany on two visits, just round trip MCO>WDW>MCO. Excellent service. :) I tipped each driver individually--had a different driver for each leg of the journey.

There have been instances of "that other company's" original quote for service increasing once the booking had been confirmed.

Tiffany has an excellent local reputation, and that really says it all in my book. I am considering using them for transport to and from the airport when I have to fly for work. Easier on me, and on parking the car at the airport!

Good to know they provided the excellent service they've come to be known for.
