Last night we had the most spectacular sunset here at our house. I took loads of photos of it from the garden, and thought I'd post some here...maybe I'm posting too many but I couldn't choose so I hope you don't mind :embarassed:

I'll post them in chronological order so you can see how the colours progressed in the 15 minutes or so that I was taking them. Most of them feature our trusty tree, which seems to be the focal point in many of my outdoor pics here!

Wow, beautiful shots Deb. Have you done anything to them in Photoshop or was the sky that amazing orange colour?

Thanks Diane. No, that's exactly as it was! It seemed like a sunset that happens when you're abroad somewhere nice, not our good old North East!! :)

Well Diane, you're not too far away! I'm only 5 minutes from Scotch Corner and I make a better cup of coffee than the services ;)

Thanks all! :)

Dawn, I live near a hamlet called Hartforth, about 3 miles north of Richmond - that's the North Yorkshire one, not the London one :D Very Deep North, though not as north as Isafari.

I know where the London Richmond is - used to go ice skating there every Saturday and got trapped under Richmond Bridge one afternoon by the rising tide on the Thames.

The North of Watford Richmond will take a bit more seeking out. For some reason I have this image in my head of James Herriot stories.

Yay!!!! I don't have tons of actual extra beds but loads of sofas and extra space!! Would be a great mini-meet!!

Dawn, we're about 20 minutes from James Herriot land. He probably put his hand up a cow's bottom not far from here. Oh, and Wensleydale's not too far too! Wallace and Grommit land :D

Oh, yes Grommit :D

I feel a themed weekend coming on.....

By the way, there is a fenced paddock where we could ncorral all the children while we sample said cheese, and wine and beer.....
