Ran across a new smiley ya'll might be interested in. Didn't see it in the current collection. I thought it was cute.

Here it is: http://idisk.mac.com/twgower/Public/popcorn.gif

If you want it, feel free. With compliments!

You did that just to wound me didn't you? You KNOW I love, adore, and fervently desire popcorn 24/7 and can't have even ONE BITE of it on this diet and yet you go and bring that popcorn muncher to our cozy site... :dozey:

Oooh where's the smiley herder - that's a good one. :D

I like the Apple one!

that took so long to load on my computer that i thought it was a joke and there was nothing there really!

I know a joke about popcorn  but it's over the line so you'll never know it.

I can't even bear the smell of popcorn and the downside of having an American DH is that we often have a house smelling of popcorn :(

Ooooh, I love the smell of freshly popped popcorn! Burnt? That's another story. Ick!!

I've often maintained that movie theatres pop that stuff just to lure people in (as the popcorn in most cinemas is icky).

Alan burnt some the other day :( It stunk the house out :(

Uk. It will do that. :( Horrid odor to get rid of too. :(

Wait a sec, you say "with an American husband..." don't English folk like popcorn?

02-03-2009, 10:21 PM
The only popcorn I can eat is toffee popcorn.

02-03-2009, 11:11 PM
Love popcorn but only sweet - we got some in WDW and it was salty - yuck, yuck, yuck!

02-03-2009, 11:36 PM
I only like Butterkist toffee popcorn :D I don't like the plan salty stuff at all.

hmmm apparently the UK likes caramel corn.

I love the smell of popcorn at the movie theater. I hate the smell of popcorn at Target

Not like the Americans it seems... everywhere I went in America to visit Alan's family and friends the first thing they all do is make a big bowl of popcorn.... and I will not say it makes me feel sick to smell it lol.

I had never seen salty or buttery popcorn until I went to the USA, we only had the confectioners sugar one years ago.... but now we can get salty in the cinema too. When we first went to the cinema in America and Alan got a tub of popcorn and then poured on this runny melted butter ontop it was all I could do to keep my insides right in there :( I'm not counting the caramel toffee popcorn you get in bags here in this. We are definitely becoming more Americanised and that's good in my book! lol!

Ah. Gotcha. I do not like sweet (caramel as we call it) popcorn at all, nor that kettlecorn stuff. :nono:

I like it salty and buttery. :D :D That's why I stay away from it. Serious carbs, eh? :sigh:

I don't like microwave popcorn though. It has to be airpopped or on the stove (preferred).

I love the smell of popcorn at WDW, but don't much like it unless it's literally fresh from the popper. They use some sort of fat there that tastes nasty once the popcorn has cooled. :(

Mmmmm...popcorn. Not sweet though. Yuk. I buy the Butterkist salted microwave popcorn. Yummy.

One little lad I used to know used to ask for hot porn.... he couldn't pronounce pop corn properly lol.

03-03-2009, 02:00 PM
We haven't been to the movies in so long that I don't even remember the smell.

03-03-2009, 04:04 PM
oh goodness, I want to go to the movies right now and get some hot popcorn with melted butter.....mmmmmmmmmm

Microwave popcorn is nasty.

Now, freshly popped kettlecorn is yummy. Just the right blend of sweet and salty
