Oh my I won a prize!

My work had a raffle on Friday to raise money for bushfire victims - and I won one of the prizes! 4 nights accommodation in Bangkok!


I'm not sure yet when we'll go - hopefully it'll be valid for Easter school holidays or possibly the June/July ones - will let you know!

About 10 hours direct on a plane - so about the same as US to UK.

But I am looking at transiting somewhere - it's a lot cheaper and doesn't seem to add too much to the travel time!

Have been having a lovely time looking at travel ideas when I'm supposed to be working! I have been to Thailand before but it was <cough> 20 years ago - so I expect it has changed a bit since then!
