i do try to convince people that i feel it wouldn't be suited to to not buy one, but i guess it's better than a car :yes:

My mum has one :sorry: she only uses it in very wide open spaces though after a few near misses :lol:

We were going along the seafront at Mudeford once and a much older lady drew up in hers next to my mum, gave her a look and then floored it away! One of the funniest things I have ever seen! :laugh:

I've not seen them in Florida (or anywhere) Mairead. I don't find them any more offensive than the deaf child signs. :)

If they do truly exist, I would imagine they are in adult only communities, or other retirement settings. :yes:

My dad uses an ECV. It has truly been a godsend for him. Anyway, when we took him to Disney in 2003, one of the CM's on a Segway came up beside him and asked if he wanted to race. It was funny :tongue:
