We're going again. :D

First time since 2003 for a couple of reasons, 1. money, 2. we wanted Steven to see a bit of our own country so we've been down to Devon and Cornwall and done some day trips around the area.

Anyway we're going back. After careful consideration we decided not to go during term time. If we took Steven out of school he would disown us - he likes school. So it's the school holidays for us. :)

Which is why we still have to wait until 2010. If we're going in August we need loads of time to save up. :(

So we have a date. August 14 2010 for 2 weeks. :D

And now, we have a location. Here...

www.disneypalmsvilla.com

And we have a travelling party: Me, Adrian, Steven and Nanny Lesley.

What no Big Steve, Lisa, Ellie and Harry???

Well they are on the villa booking but they have currently decided that they do not want to go in August as it will be crowded. We said it's Disney and it's always crowded and there's way to deal with that. But right now they are saying they don't want to go in August. They may change their mind next week. Or we may ask Uncle Roy and Auntie Anne if they'd like to come with us. So there's 4 of us - in a 5 bedroom villa. Can you say paaaarrrrrrrttttyyyyyyy. :207:

There are quite a few coincidences! We last went in 2003. We are going again in 2010. We're staying in a villa and that's all I can thing of at the moment.

That villa looks lovely and that is a great area, the villa we stayed in the first two times we went was at the other end of Old Lake Wilson Rd and it is an easy drive to disney without lots of traffic

Ya know if you made it a little later in the month then you'd probably have free dining too. OR you could still change it to when it's not so flipping hot in Florida!!

Nah, you know we like to get offsite and check out the (much cheaper) restaurants in the area. :D

If you can persuade our government to change school term dates then we'll change our holiday dates. ;)

Off site is good, but free is better:wink:

Okay, so who in your government do I need to contact :HamsterDance:

Free is good but we don't like to spend a lot of park time eating. And we already have a villa booked and if you look in the gallery for the villa you'll see we get our very own night time Shamu show in our private pool.

OK this may get ***'d out but the Secretary of State for Education is one Ed Balls.

Auntie Anne? Did Uncle Roy marry?

Dawn

Uncle Roy married a couple of years ago.

Did we miss that part? Did we miss the photos from his 40th birthday fancy dress party too?

I sure missed his marrying!

Dress party... is that the one where one group of your family (Big Steve?) dressed as the superheros and were walking down the street to the party when they were photo'd?

That bit I remember, just not the reason for the party! :D

Dawn

Big Steve, Lisa, Ellie and Harry walked down the high street dressed as The Incredibles.

It's a lovely villa, Dawn!

With the current residents, Steven will not only have his own bedroom, he'll also have his own play room! :)

I really needed your Jedi report for our WDW visit last December. Shelly (my friend Leu's DD) managed to have a baby between the time we made plans and the trip finally arrived, so we took Troy at 14 weeks. He was a doll--just went with the flow. Big sis Lexie was in seventh heaven. After she got home, she asked Gramma Leu if they could go back to Pop Century. Not to visit the parks--just to stay at the resort!

And this child has stayed at more five-star resorts in her life than I have! :)

Bumping this up to prove to Skywatcher that I have actually already written a pre-trip report.

And also to add some more details. Now that my temporary job in school has been extended until the end of July this holiday is now financially viable. :mental:

Having spare cash is so cool. :D

Big Steve and family are definitely not coming. Not in August. :sigh:

But...Auntie Jo and Uncle Errol have asked to see the villa details and are definitely interested. Still working on their finances but are definite maybes. :D

Oh oh oh and I had a chat a while back on another forum with someone who was actually staying in the villa at the time and they said it was perfect. :mental:

Definitely. Except if I remember rightly they said they had broken the pool Shamu and could only find a lobster to replace it with.

Steven would probably find that funnier.
