I am just saddened over yet another death due to a skiing accident. A death or severe head injury might not be avoided by wearing a helmet, but the risks are greatly reduced.

So sad. RIP Natasha Richardson.

Such a sad event :(

Baleigh seemed especially struck by it as Natasha had starred in the remake of the Parent Trap movie that she loved so much.

She was skiing on a beginner slope wasn't she? Those are the ones I love because I don't do fast on skiis. Rick is the one who wears the helmet since he had his motorcycle accident.
Just so sad....maybe it's time I got one too? maybe.

i have just asked my son to promise me that he will wear a helmet on his next trip and he wont. :thud: Why does he think it wont happen to him? :nono:
