I've just read that Pecos Bill's has self-service kiosks. Can anyone give me info about how that works?
Do they have them in any other counter-service locations?
Thank you. :-)

From what I can recall, it operates as a touch screen where you make your choices, slide your card and proceed through the line.

The one and only time I encountered it was during it's "beta" version and it kept "freezing up" so we ended up in a regular line anyway.

I'm sure someone who's been since will have a better description for you!

Typically I enjoy it...but this was a bit frustrating...though it might be nice once they work out the kinks :D

I read that was one of the refurb changes, that the kiosks have been moved. Maybe they've been improved too. :D

 we had the same issue with the kiosks.

I really think if places want me to do all the work, then I should get a discount too!

I wish i can help with this stuff, but this is the first time I heard about it. Well, i guess some of the blogger can help you good, but if not why not digg the internet if you can find something about that establishment. Good luck

we used it once, a couple of years ago, it was only for those paying by dining plan credits or credit card, and it was very easy to use, last year we were not on the plan and were paying cash, and it was frustrating joining long queues when the self serve machines were empty...

I'd like to be served by a human too. At least if it goes wrong they don't go into some automated circular process that you can't escape from. And a machine doesn't say "have a Disney day".

Having said that - self-service in M & S rules. :D

That's an excellent point.

I never use self-service tills in shops. Machines don't like me.
