Instead of the hassle of taking makeup through security in see-through bags, can I just buy some once I'm through?
It's been a while since I was at Gatwick and I can't remember what shops there are.
Thanks.:-)

yes you can, not sure what Orlando is like but in Atlanta we had to recheck our stuff in the airport so any fluids that we had bought in duty free and put in our hand luggage was taken off us.

:sigh: that is the saddest post for ages what a waste
you could always plump for the 'paper bag' until you are reunited with your case :D
Orlando is a lot better than it was - no rescreening after landing on the last trip

I bought some make up in duty free last time, they said I didn't have to worry about the liquids as I had bought it after security but I was still worried so they put it into a sealed duty free bag for me and I had no problems the other end

It keeps me warm on a long star gazing night
3 am a nice single malt , the sea lapping in the distance and the heavans blazing overhead
:sigh:
so anyway, not sure why I'm posting on a make up thread

HERE (http://www.ukairportguide.co.uk/london-gatwick/london-gatwick-airport-shops.html) is a list of the shops
Putting a few items in a clear bag really is no hassle though

It really is.... especially if it's got to last a flight to the US.
Can't you wait and buy it out there?
