You should be able to see if, we have seen it a number of times, once we saw the space shuttle and international space station, check out this as you can track where the station is.

Put in your location and it will give you all the passes and a star map showing you when and where to look - you can't always see it but it is a fantastic sight when you do
My main problem has been cloud :(
