I have a 100 mile mountain bike ride in 2 weeks time, and I have twisted my knee playing with my dog at the park .

I am now sitting at work with my knee strapped up wondering when I am next going to get on my bike to train!!!

Anyway, plea for sympathy over.

Will probably go for a walk at lunchtime and see how it holds up. Then see how it feels in the morning.

:We really need a manly slap on the back smiley:

Keeping everything crossed for you mate but you know it makes sense to look after it and not push it if its not right

Oh well isn't that just the worst luck?! :( I sure hope that the knee is just a bit tight and no injury to tendons?

A one hundred mile mountain bike ride? The thought of it boggles the mind. Well, mine anyway. I have a bike. :D I stop by falling off. :sigh: Not sure why that happens but it sure makes it tough to stop on roadways! Ahem. :spring:

Just got back from my lunchtime walk, the knee didn't feel to bad although I am sure the strapping is helping!!

Hopefully just a tweek and nothing serious.

I want to get back on my bike :hissyfit:

Just rest it as long as you can, so when it does come time you will have done what you can. Boy, that really stinks!

Oh, dear! That's really bad timing! And about my style. All I have to do is plan something and I manage to injure a foot or leg a day or two before departure. :sigh:

Hope it mends quickly so you can resume training.

100 miles?
