I do love the pink and purple jelly beans, but am picky about the brand. Also love the Snickers eggs. :D

Well, I was quite relieved to not have anyone give me chocolates or any other edible treats! I was very pleased with a potted purple hyacinth.

Mostly though, my favorite treat was having our guests here, and being able to share the day with them.

No treats from the Easter Bunny for me.

We spent Easter day driving up the eastern seaboard. As much as I hate getting up early, I do advocate leaving FL at 5am. I was home before dark!

Johnie, if you don't mind my asking (because we'll be making that drive soon) how long did it take (near as you can remember) and how many stops did you make?

Thanks!!!

Let's see, we stopped quite a bit it seems for pit stops and once to eat. Traffic was pretty steady and there was one accident. I'd say it was about 11 hours. Yeah that should be about right. Because when we drive down it takes 8 hours to get to Brunswick, GA (bottom of the state) and then another 3 hours to get to Disney from there.

I have had a lovely Easter weekend and as such are just catching up with everyfink! My "must have" or I will do this :argue: things:

I have to have at least one Cadbury's Creme Egg. Must. And toasted hot cross buns with butter on Good Friday morning...mmmmm. And at some point on the weekend I have to have 2 soft boiled eggs in my chicken egg cups with lots of soldiers for dipping :D

This Easter Mr Deb gave me a Hotel Chocolat Ostrich Egg :jawdrop:and I think I shall immediately make that a "must have" for every year

speed limit is 70 in most places. so a top speed of 80 is what we were doing. North Carolina seems to take the longest. They also seem to do a lot of construction work.
