Well Matthew woke up at ridiculous o'clock in the morning as he was soo excited about Tinkerbell bringing him $5 ( :dozey: ) and proceeded to tell us through our drowsy sleep deprived states what he was going to buy with it all ( a lot as it transpires  )
We don't ,as you probably know, tend to 'do' itineries but the plan today was to get up and be at AK for park opening. This was definitely NOT going to be a DHS day as it was one of only 3 dates that had Fantasmic showing plus it was an EMH day as well and the combination of the two meant it would be heaving - we had also planned that we may do Wishes tonight depending on how we felt - now this would be a major step for us as we usually dont do the night shows so early in the holiday as the kids ( and us ) are wiped out.
Anyway despite logic like this the kids are really getting very keen on doing Toy Story Mania and really want us to do this instead. We decide to discuss it over breakfast , which today is pancakes all round :D ( apart from Thomas who has marmite on toast)
After a heated debate and a frankly pointless vote ( being as there were 4 of us  ) we decide that life is too short for this and head over to DHS and arrive just after park opening.

Everybody, and by that I MEAN everybody is walking through the gate up the main stree to the right of the hat and to TSM
By the time we arrive and this can only be 10 minutes after rope drop there is a 30min queue for the ride and what looks like a 30 minute queue for a fastpass

We decide just to join the queue as it seems to be moving ok, we are automatically in a good mood, the kids are happy as we are doing exactly what they want and are very excited about the ride, DHS is smaller with a more intimate feel than EPCOT.
Anyway onto the queue - it is a brilliant area with so so much to see
Crayola would be happy

And this was a completely random photo of Lisa :point:

There are huge candyland boards, huge game pieces, cards, 3D viewing wheels, all sorts of stuff to keep you busy and is an attraction in itself
The animatronic Potato head keeps everyone amused as well
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb84/sidleydoc/others/2009_0120florida090157.jpg
Finally we cross the bridge and onto the ride itself
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb84/sidleydoc/others/2009_0120florida090160.jpg
It is FANTASTIC , the 'guns' are very ergonomic and shoot a variety of things like balls , darts eggs etc at the various targets, there are air jets and water sprinkes and all sorts of gimmicks the 3D glasses make a huge difference to the experience and the boys are squealing with excitement throughout.
Matthew declares this easily 'his best'
Thomas announces as we are walking out that he is 'desparate' for a wee - this usually means 'its coming point me at something that isn't expensive or liable to stain' so we sprint past the closed backlot tour to the loos next to what used to be a mainly Power Rangers shop.
As we are in the loo Matthews face becomes like this ---> :jawdrop: as he hears and recognises the Music of the power rangers thumping away outside
'oo oo oogottameethepowerrangerscomeoncomeonthey'llgocome oncomeoooooooooooooon'
I have to break a personal 'rest room record' as Matthew goes haring out of the room and to the streets of New York to meet his heros' - this is usually the quietest meet of the day and they are hanging around in pairs which is good for the photos
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb84/sidleydoc/others/2009_0120florida090161.jpg
We only get a few of the Autographs before its time for them to leave and save the planet again so we wave goodbye and decied to head over to Star Tours while we wait the next Power Rangers set.
INitially Matthew was very keen but as we apprached the ride he started to get his nervous tummy again and was convinced he needed a 'winnie' we watched the Jedi school briefly and this was spectacularly done - never seen this before shame the boys wern't keen and I wasn't allowed to do it really :(

Cajole him into the queue with promises of seeing C3P0 and R2D2 and of course , the shop  and he has a little freak just before we get on.
The CM sees he's nervous
'You ok little buddy?'
'I don't want to go on , don't make me go on '
'Ah you'll be fine its fun' and she waves us through
Matthew :dozey: is not impressed and looks like he'll never trust another CM in his life.
Needless to say he absolutely loved it and was whooping and hollering the whole way through the ride and now declares this 'his best'
Gets a Jedi Mickey for 'being brave'
Hmmm :dozey: I get the feeling we are being 'played' by our little man here
Continued this story will be....
