Now that I have an iPhone, I was wondering if people could list their favourite applications please?

I haven't a clue what to try, and there are so many out there....

Maybe 2 lists; good and bad!

Thanks all

Jackie

Well, I certainly haven't tried them all. In fact, I haven't tried most of them. But here's the ones I do have that I kinda like (these are from the US iTunes store):

A Mahjong game (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=285490012&mt=8)
Shazam (really useful when you're wondering "What's the name of that song!") (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=284993459&mt=8)
The obligatory Sudoko puzzle. (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=284659360&mt=8)
Labyrinth Lite - you probably played it as a kid (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=284940503&mt=8)
Stanza - eBook reader - although it doesn't handle some of my PDF's very well. (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=284956128&mt=8)

Hope this help!

Tom (:macwave:... so many apps, so little time!)

I haven't really installed many, although I'm busy writing a wdisney secrets app :) (fingers crossed, time allowing and all that)

I use Shazam all the time! you let it listen to music and it tells you the artist and song title :)

facebook, tweetie erm erm thats about it

CFStringRef url = CFSTR("http://wdisneysecrets.com");
CFURLRef myURL = CFURLCreateWithString(kCFAllocatorDefault, url, NULL);
CFStringRef requestMethod = CFSTR("GET");
CFHTTPMessageRef myRequest = CFHTTPMessageCreateRequest(kCFAllocatorDefault, requestMethod, myURL,
kCFHTTPVersion1_1);
CFHTTPMessageSetBody(myRequest, bodyData);
CFHTTPMessageSetHeaderFieldValue(myRequest, headerFieldName, headerFieldValue);
CFDataRef mySerializedRequest = CFHTTPMessageCopySerializedMessage(myRequest);

My recommendations would be Tap Tap Revenge Coldplay version, Solitaire City, FlightControl (So funny!), Facebook and Tweetie. I would avoid Pocket God but that's just personal choice.

My fave app/game is probably crash nitro kart or supermonkey ball... However there is a brill little app called 'aSleep' and it has loads of sounds that can help sooth you to sleep, rain water etc. It really works when you can't sleep- well worth the money!

Can't sleep, so am testing Josh's recommendation now. Maybe it would work better if I was lying in bed rather than typing quietly so as not to wake DH??
