Ok the big day was this past Saturday. Alysia got hit in the eye with a rock on Thursday. Luckily it didn't cause any damage except a tad bit of swelling. The first thing she did after she screamed was wail, "the prom in on SATURDAY!" She had a good talking to from my mom about no rock throwing EVER :nono:
She curled her hair to begin with. Hated it. Had to go wash it again and this is what she did. This is she and her boyfriend, Justin.
she looked GORGEOUS!!!

Did she have a good time Johnie?

She said they did. They went to a little Greek restaurant and stuffed themselves full of pastichio and then went off to the prom.

That's good, I hope she did. She looks stunning. Did the prom have a theme?

Midnight in Paris. I can't see any decorations from the pictures she took. I'll have to wait to get the professional pics back. They had a prom book they could buy too. It has everyone's couples pictures and then pics from the night. Interesting.

Wow, that must be a new thing. I didn't go to prom, but I know they weren't offering anything like a book. That would be nice if one had a good time.

I think it is new. I didn't see it on the order form last year. It's only $10.
I didn't go to prom either. I didn't want to. I don't dance. Only the preppy kids went back in the 80's. I wasn't a preppy kid. I also didn't like big Scarlet O'Hara ball gowns

She looks so beautiful!
And they make a lovely couple.
What a busy time for her it is right now! :wiggle:

$10 isn't bad at all.
I had no desire to go to prom either. I'm just not that into group events and definitely not a social kinda person.

I'll say it again , Alysia is gorgeous Johnie and her gown was too .

I know! Graduation is a month and a half away.

So do the Richmond at large kids have a graduation week at the beach too?
04-22-2009, 07:24 PM
Yeah, they've been doing that at least since I was in high school. They haven't mentioned anything about her group going anywhere though.

These pictures are so much better than the ones I got on my cell phone
She looks beyond wonderful in tht dress  Give her a hug for me and tell her that she made me feel so old because she looks so grown up :sigh: But, I still love her anyway :D
04-22-2009, 08:44 PM
 a cell phone was the only way to get the pictures to you over the weekend.

Alex and the just about the rest of her graduating class is off to the Outer Banks right after graduation. That makes me worry! She is a great kid, but the group mentality is something that scares me!:sorry:
