Having a wonderful time - did lots of fun things today - saw elephants, had an oxcart ride, rode a bamboo raft, visited a silk factory, went to an orchid farm! (saw a monkey show but I didn't like that very much :( I felt too sad for the monkeys)
The bamboo raft driver must have loved us - Gareth wanted to drive the whole trip. Photos uploading now - I will post soon!

If you stay anywhere near to Bangkok try to do a trip up the river in one the small boats. They have a HUGE outboard engine and it`s great to see the city from another angle.
If you get time, a trip to the River Kwai is also excellent especially if you take in a trip on the "Death Valley Railway" which is a very moving experience.
wow!!
sounds like a very eventul trip so far!! :)

Don't know tbh - they were teasing us about crocodiles but hey I'm from Queensland - we know all about them! (yeah, right!)
Today we went for a looooong hike - I am so old and unfit - I really am sore and tired now! But it was very enjoyable all the same.

When you say raft you mean raft. LOL. I thought you were talking about one of those inflatable kind.
Well yes. Being from Australia you would be braver about those things than I. :D
I love walks! The word hike scares me though. Implies clambering over rocks and other pointy obstructions!
Hope the muscle discomfort eases quickly. :hug2:
