Steve's back in hospital - sent him home too early. :furious:

Hope the weather holds - going to plant out the sprouts tomorrow. Need to get them growing so can start them cooking in August.

Well it looks like this IS the Friday thread.

I am at work now. I will be heading down to Williamsburg for the weekend. Luvthemouse and her family are down there now so I will spend some time with them.

Almost time to go home here...so glad to put this week to bed.

We're off to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden (http://www.bbg.org/index2.html) tomorrow. Baleigh is wearing the new dress Ms. Johnie sent her and we're going to snap photos all day long :)

We're also going to stop in at the Brooklyn Museum (http://www.brooklynmuseum.org/) and see what we can see

Hoping the weather holds. :fingers:

I will!!

02-05-2009, 03:38 AM
oh no Dawn...

how long will he be there for?

02-05-2009, 09:56 PM
What's wrong with him Dawn? I mean, recurrence of the infection, or cellulitis or what? :( :(

03-05-2009, 06:57 AM
The infection is not responding to the oral antibiotics he was discharged with so it's back in for the IV stuff again.

03-05-2009, 02:20 PM
Ugh. :( That's really too bad.

Years ago I read about "super infections" which (at that time) were thought to be a forthcoming complication from overuse of antibiotics, and use of antibiotics when their application wasn't warranted.

I wonder if these sorts of fierce infections are some of what that article was predicting?
