Steve still in hospital but now the hospital has had an outbreak of D & V so no visitors and no leaving his ward. He's going slowly mad.

And this is all for 1 injection a day, which if he lived in my part of the country would be administered to him at home by a community nurse.

:furious:

Camberley.

that's not really out of the way is it? the services that we have here are very lacking - i find it incredible that it's ok for some people to have access to services and others not. grrrrrr look at the money that it's costing to keep him in an acute bed too!

I have no idea what D&V is... but WOW!....

Honestly his wife is a nurse. Why can't she give him the injection? :furious:

It appears the outbreak of diarrhoea on Steve's ward was due to the medical staff giving a constipated patient too many laxatives.

I tell you, you couldn't write this stuff. :rotfl:

For the record if you get ill, get as far away from St Peters hospital in Chertsey as you can. :mental:

That's where my mum and dad always end up

That story would be funny if it wasn't so shocking

Glad it wasn't a virus going around the hospital though.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Back up a minute. Back up to the point where you said Steve's wife is a NURSE? And he wouldn't go to the doc to check out the cut?

OK. I'm in. Slap the man. Hard. OIY!!!!

:slap: It's always worse if there is a nurse in the family! They always think we are just over reacting!

:pixiedust: Pixie dust for Steve
