Today we watched for the first time...

Tatiana LOVED the opening scene.... she pointed to the giraffes, zebras and elephants.... and roared whenever Mufasa appeared :yes:

It was so sweet.... a GREAT way to start the day :)

Oh l love that film . It was Zoes bestest film when she was little. We wore out the video and l have never been able to get the DVD. It is my all time favourite Disney film, and some of my best memories of my little girl. Could l still get the DVD.

My Da was the person I first watched it with! I'd stopped by their house and he said, with a great big, little kid grin, "You wanna' watch the Lion King?" I was a little surprised that he'd want to watch a children's movie, but said yes and what a film! Nice memories. :yes:

I took Alysia to see it when it came out. She was 3. Other than a brief "Why did the daddy die? That is so sad mama" she was totally enthralled with the film.
