Finally got my hands on an iPhone!! I got a brill deal off a 2g iPhone from a certain person :wiggle: I am SOO pleased with it. I am just transferring my Music and Pictures to it now :D Really is a great piece of kit, and considering what goes into it, it's really compact!

How have you resisted touching it?! Luckily mine has a grease-proof/scratch-proof sticker on it- if it didn't I think it'd already be full of sticky marks!

Britchick
21-04-2009, 08:44 PM
should it say that it will only do 999 calls until it's charged?

you need to activate it... Plug it into your computer and open iTunes. It 'links up' with your iTunes account. Then you should get to phone your friends (unless they all work in the police station and then you needn't bother activating it)

LOL, you would think that apple would provide a sim slot opener!!!!

They do! It's folded into the instruction manual!

Most people haven't found it because... you know... instructions are there to be ignored!!

Josh, can you just keep upgrading the software on your phone? I never had the old iPhone, so don't know the difference between the two

I'm not Josh but the answer is yes.

At least so far.

I've got the old, original iPhone and all the software updates have been fine. I'm sure there's GPS type functionality that I'm losing but everything else is fine.

Tom (:macwave:... still loves his antiquated, old, original iPhone)
