Today, to raise funds for the HK exchange, we did the 'Wirral Coastal walk' which basically is walking from one side of the Wirral to the other :yes: We went from seacombe ferry to Thurstaston, which is about 16 miles I think.

I'm not really that tired but my shoes rubbed a bit and my feet are sore :yes: Just for my own sponsors I raised 220 and a few others raised 100+ so we are well on our way for getting to the goal!!

Currently we have 6,600 and the goal is to raise 10,000! We have another pub collection soon (Which gets us about 400 usually) and a few bag-packs in local supermarkets, a tombola stall at a local fair, and another raffle too!! According to the youth leaders we are slightly ahead of what previous year's groups had raised at this time of the year.

Thought I'd share some pics of the walk (of which about 5 miles was in the TEAMING down rain) Those of you who have me on facebook (Josh Parry if you haven't :thumbsup:) you will have noticed my regular updates from my iPhone, including pictures!

Rachael unwittingly used my apple sign as a mirror and found herself having a 'candid camera' moment- this has been plastered over facebook :rotfl:

And the finish line!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

It was sponsored by Unilever (who organize it each year for the red-cross, a certain percentage of our fund raising goes to them) so at the end we got some goodies- Woman's conditioner, some soap, some CIF bathroom spray, and some shower gel :thumbsup: As well as a coat from the London marathon (Perhaps I should trick people into thinking I did the marathon :unsure:)

Good job josh! Definitely looks like a dreary day for a walk.

I woke up this morning, got out of bed, and then fell over. My legs are stiff.

Good work, Josh! :yes: I'm sure a long soak in a hot tub will help the stiffness. :yes:

I was suprisingly okay after I woke up- I'm not exhausted or anything! I know it's only 15 miles but I thought it'd be a LOT harder than it was :yes:
