Hiya
At the moment we have pop century booked but have always wanted to try a deluxe like the wilderness lodge or polynesian
Can anyone who has stayed there tell me how much better they think it is and why? I dont know that it can be worth the extra but it must be if people stay there :wiggle:

We wanted in time to stay in all the hotels we tred the WL 3 years ago and fell in love. I love everything about it - its location the surroundings the lobby, ther service , the restaurants and the proce which is far less thamn a lot of the deluxes
I cannot compare to the poly but TBH I don't think I will ever want to stay anywhere else

I just knew that I would love the WL and was finally able to stay there last summer. I was right, it was fabulous! I loved the atomosphere, the location, just basically everything about it.
I only wish they had a better quick service area, but really that's it.
I would like to try out all the resorts, but if I had to choose I would to stay there every time. :D
It's well worth it.

 same with us . The quick counter could be better but we just ate in the parks and only usd it occasionally.
Honestly if I won a bazillion pounds on the lottery I would still stay at the WL

Me too!
Don't ya just love walking into that lobby. My room faced the inside lobby and then faced the outside straight out. I had great views from both.

I completely agree with that!
We stayed there when we got married and so it has special memories in that regard as well as just being completely wonderful in every other way.
It lacks the monorail of the other MK deluxes but it gains from a quiet atmosphere. You know you're still at Disney but you can relax whilst being 5 mins away from MK by boat.
Absolutely love it there

If we hadn`t made such good friends with many of the CM`s at the GF, then we would opt to stay at WL without a doubt.
Artist`s Point is a "must do" restaurant each time we visit WDW...it`s the only restaurant I know at WDW where I know exactly what I`m going to order without seeing the menu!

We also thoroughly enjoyed the WL!
At least as far as we were able. I had the flu during our stay there and so most of what I got to see was the inside of my eyelids.
However, it was wonderful those times that I was awake and coherent!
Tom (:macwave:... who really liked the geysers!)

Believe me Terry, I wish it hadn't been! It's one of those things that just doesn't go down very well. :mental:
And to top it off, my DW lost one of the baguettes out of her wedding ring during the trip.
All around, not one of our better vacations!
Tom (:macwave:... I still liked the place though!)
