I've been looking at prices of fishing trips off the coast near Titusville for DH. I nearly fainted at the prices! $500, $600, the cheapest I found was about $400 for half a day.

Is that way expensive or am I just easily shocked?

i know its really expensive di sound about right to me from what ive seen....a friend has bought a villa near naples on the gulf and is setting up a fishing charter business its such big business out there

i know but its the going rate for a fishing trip, so you imagine if there are 4 ppl on the boat that can be 2k per 4hr trip, not bad business eh!!!! i think we are all in the wrong bus :lol:

DH can go on a fishing trip from our local docks for £30 :lol: I can't see how the price is at the very least 10X in Florida.

id luv to do it as ive just started going fishing again, but id rather spend that sort of money on other things....LIKE ON ME!!! :lol:

Well, there was a reason I wanted DH to go fishing off that particular coast....I need him to drop me off somewhere and then disappear for the day. So, it was me I was thinking of really :lol:

Diane this one is $650 / half day and $850/full day for the BOAT not per person. The boat holds up to 6. Perhaps your DH could join up with something like that.
