looking at getting either the barclays additions or premier account to primarily get the travel insurance. Thinking of the premier one as it has lounge access  at Gatwick. Anyone got any experience of these?

Never had a bank account with travel insurance but often wondered whether it was comprehensive enough to cover you for a trip to the US.
My parents are using the insurance on their Lloyds account this year and i was a bit concerned it wouldn't offer them as much cover as they would have buying in separately.

I've got the Barclays premier one and can't complain really. I guess with the extras it kinda pays for itself

i've looked at the policy and it is very good T. 10 million medical and also covers the water sports that we will be partaking in, sometimes it's difficult to get and also they are not going to charge me for my preexisting conditions- which is good.

Theyre fine! just the normal lounges that you'd normally get if you went first class or paid £18 per person or whatever  Considering the account itself costs 15 or 17 a month or something I think it's paid for itself over the time.
They have sometimes been a bit over zealous about the investment advice and so on but nothing awful

....and their Black Card accounts also give you access passes to all of the lounges at the airports Worldwide in addition to providing a concierge service to obtain theatre tickets and to deal with any emergencies that may crop up.
