Disney preferred fireworks viewing spot?

On the Disney site at the moment they have an offer which will give you preferred viewing for fireworks

Has anyone had an offer like this and are the locations really better than we would get anyway?

Yes for EPCOt no for the MK

The MK spot was just awful and gave a very poor view of wishes - it was infront of plaza gardens and the castle is obscured by the trees!!!

The EPCOT one was great infront of the mexico dock

Do you have to be staying onsite to get the preffered viewing area for Illuminations?

i got a great spot for wishes/hallowishes the backside of the circle[the disabled area :wink:] in front of the castle and dead opposite for illuminations i think i took a photo of every single firework that went up :lol:
