Is anyone collecting Disney D23 magazine yet?? It's pretty expensive to find out it's not worth having so I want to be sure before signing up :)

I bought the first D23 magazine at Barnes and Noble last week (was able to get a small discount with my member card). It's large, the paper is pretty good stock and there is lots of stuff about Walt in there. I think it's worth the $15.

Yep, in the magazine section. I think it was the entertainment section of the magazines. Donald Duck is on the cover.

Why is it called D23? Leave it to me to ask the stupid question...LOL. D probably means Disney...but the 23?

but the 23?

The Walt Disney Company actually started in 1923. See this link (http://studioservices.go.com/disneystudios/history.html) for an abbreviated history.
